Go For Gold!

To celebrate the 2012 games we invited all sheltered residents to get involved with a fun skittle tournament!

The day was a great success with over 130 people attending and enjoying the day. Teams of 10 were allocated a country to represent in the skittle games, with Italy coming out on top and receiving the Gold medals, Kenya were close behind and grabbed the Silver and Great Britain took the Bronze.

The day was opened by Organic Rhythm who entertained us with a drumming performance, throughout the day there was the

chance to enjoy food tasters from around the world, take part in drumming workshops, a quiz and a buffet lunch to keep us going!

After the medal ceremony the day was closed with a interactive session for the whole group with boom whackers! (pictures below)

Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, all the staff were fantastic and worked really hard. Also thank you to every one who came along and joined in, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
