We provide three different support options:
An initial assessment will be carried out by an Independent Living Advisor to identify the right support level for you, dependent on your needs and assist you with any immediate issues. We will review your needs yearly, or more frequently if required, to check you are receiving the correct support level to help you to continue to live independently in your own home.

-
Help in an emergency (Monday to Friday 8.45am – 4.30pm) from one of our Independent Living Advisors
-
A yearly check on your wellbeing and that your emergency contact details are correct
-
Access to social activities in our community centres

Option 2 – Medium Support
- Everything on the low support service menu
- A weekly visit to check your welfare and help you resolve any issues
- Up to four intercom calls a week through the community alarm system to check on your continued welfare
- A support plan which identifies your support needs and how we can help you
Option 3 – High Support
- Everything on the low support service menu
- Up to five visits a week (Monday to Friday) to check on your welfare and help you to resolve any issues
- Up to seven intercom calls a week through the community alarm system
- A support plan which identifies your support needs and how we can help you
Charges
If you receive any amount of housing benefit (even if it's only a small amount each week) the 'Supporting People Initiative' will fund your 'support' service charge for you. If you do not receive any housing benefit, you can still ask the Supporting People Team for a 'financial assessment' to see if you can get any help towards paying your 'support' service charge.
