The new expanding urban community that has been evolving in Filton, has been successful in delivering much needed homes in the area of Bristol. Bovis Homes worked in partnership with Alliance Homes to deliver 41 of these homes as affordable in 2018-2019.

Alliance Homes are working in partnership with Speller Metcalfe to develop and refurbish a mixed office block into 16 no. affordable units. The scheme has been actively supported by Bristol City Council, as a fundamental collaboration to providing affordable housing in the local community and identifies with Bristol City Councils strategy of 800 new affordable homes per year. The scheme has been designed to convert, refurbish and develop a new build, all in one scheme to provide affordable housing. It’s a complex site, with restrictive access and requires coordination with other local businesses.
It has taken a significant amount of time to deliver these properties, but we are pleased to say that we are aiming to deliver these in early 2020, these will bring much needed affordable homes in the local area.
