Our Community Hubs are located in Weston-super-Mare, and are available to our customers and communities. These are multi-purpose spaces for a range of voluntary groups and community activities. Each Community Hub is community-led and is a space for local residents to come together, socialise, meet new people, stay warm, and enjoy some food and refreshments.

Oldmixon Community Hub

Where: 7 Aller Parade, Oldmixon, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 9DD

Coffee Morning

  • When: every Monday and Wednesday, 10am - 12pm
  • Enjoy refreshments, toast, cake fruit, and access to WIFI.

Reset WSM Youth Club

  • When: Every Monday during term time.
  • Years 3 - 6: 4.30 - 6.00pm
  • Years 7 - 11: 6.30 - 8.00pm

Social Group

  • When: every Tuesday, 11am - 2pm
  • Board games, arts and craft and optional soup and roll for £1.50.

Crafts 4 Eternity

  • When: every Tuesday, 6.30 - 8.30pm
  • Creative Journaling Club. £6 per person.

Aller Tots

  • When: every Thursday, 9.00 - 11.30am
  • Toddler session for parents with refreshments, toast, cake, fruit, toys and play activities, and access to WIFAller Parade Food PantryI.

Aller Parade Food Pantry

  • When: Friday's, 1.00 - 3.00 pm

Loxton Road Food Pantry

  • When: Monday’s 12 – 2pm

  • Holistic wellbeing activity. Coffee and cake.

Friends of the Coronation

  • When: Tuesday 14 and 28 June, 6.30 - 9.30pm
  • Get together with your neighbours.

After school Kids club

  • When: Every Thursday, 3.00 - 5.30pm
  • Open to students to get involved in art and craft activities.

Sewing with Pam

  • When: First and last Sunday of the month, 10 – 4pm (£5 per session)
  • Tea's and coffee's.

Bake Together after school club

  • When: Every Monday, 3.30 - 5.30pm. £2 per family.

  • When: Every Tuesday, 11am - 1pm
  • Explore the power of plants and unwind with a cup of coffee.

Vitaminds Talking Therapies (Free drop-in service)

  • When: Every Second Tuesday of the month.

Parent Breakfast Club

  • When: Every Wednesday, 9.00 - 11.00am
  • An opportunity to meet and mix with other parents and children.

Wednesday craft club

  • When: Every Friday, 11am - 2pm
  • A friendly craft club for you to unwind at the end of the week.

Men's Talk Club

  • When: Every Wednesday, 5 - 7pm
  • Safe, supportive space for open conversation with other men.

Coffee Morning

  • When: Every Thursday, 10am - 12pm
  • Refreshments, toast, cake, fruit and access to WIFI available.

Dessert Hub and Coffee Drop-in

  • When: Every Thursday, 2 - 5pm
  • Bringing people together over a cake, bake or sweet treat.

Bicycle Repair Project

  • When: Every Friday, 5.00 - 8.00pm
  • Help fix bikes and share skills, open to all skill levels.

Outdoor Community Hub - Coleridge Road Community Gardens

Where: Between houses 65 and 67, Coleridge Road, Weston-super-Mare BS23 3UJ

When:

  • Tuesday's, 10:00am - 12.30pm
  • Thursday's: 12.30 - 4pm

Grow flowers, fruits and veg, lend a hand with repairs and enjoy good company, tea and biscuits.

Community investment

We will:

  • Work with community members, stakeholders, suppliers and partners to help create local plans to support community activities and investment.
  • Run a full and varied programme of activities in our Community Hubs and promote these to our customers and communities.
  • Make sure our community hubs are safe and well maintained.
  • Give all community volunteers a full induction programme and ongoing support and development.
