Alliance Homes boosts food bank donation for Christmas

Alliance Homes is providing an additional £2,000 Christmas to our local foodbanks in recognition of the important role they play at this time of year.

Alliance has been a long-term supporter of both Weston and Clevedon foodbanks. Alliance recognises the vital impact these organisations have on those most in need.

For the past few years Alliance Homes has provided Christmas donations foodbanks. This year, the Christmas donation of £1,000 each, to the two foodbanks is in addition to the £1,000 we gave to each foodbank in the summer following an urgent appeal by Weston Foodbank.

Chief Executive Louise Swain commented: The cost-of-living crisis has not gone away, and foodbanks are a necessary lifeline for so many people living in our communities. We know that demand is going to be high, so we’ve decided to donate further funds to support these important organisations.”
