Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Since Boris Johnson addressed the nation outlining the Government's roadmap to ease the United Kingdom out of lockdown restrictions, we've looked at what this means for reopening or services.

As the situation is constantly evolving, we’ll be using our website and social media to provide you with information should there be any changes to the provision of our services.

Phased restart of repairs

To keep colleagues and customers safe we’ll be restarting our repairs service in phases that begin after each of the Government’s roadmap dates.

Below we've outlined each of the phases and what kind of repair you should contact us about during that phase. Please do not contact us if your repair is not included in that phase as we’ll be unable to schedule the work.

Once your repair has been logged, we’ll then schedule a date according to priority.

Phase 1 - 19 April – 18 May
  • All emergency works
  • Roofing
  • Guttering
  • Fencing
  • External masonry repairs (walls, paths and chimneys)
  • Plumbing repairs
Phase 2 - 19 May – 17 June
  • All Phase 1 repairs
  • Window repairs
  • Glazing repairs
  • Door entry systems
  • Communal repair
  • Minor carpentry repairs (kitchen door and drawer fronts, door
    handles, skirting and architraves)
Phase 3 - 21 June onwards
  • Full repairs service will be resumed
Compliance checks

If you are due to have a compliance check for gas servicing or electrical testing, we will contact you separately about this.

Home improvements (planned works to kitchens, bathrooms)

If a home renovation for a new kitchen or bathroom was delayed, we will contact you separately to discuss our plans for this.

Home assessment surveys

If you are due to have an assessment regarding the condition of your home, we will contact you from mid-April about this.

Lettings, ending a tenancy and mutual exchanges.

We've continued to carry out lettings and you can end a tenancy should you chose to.

Since January we paused all new applications for mutual exchanges. These will recommence on 12 April. From this date you will also be able to log on or register with

Paying rent and financial support

Support services

We're continuing to provide a range of support services, click here to see the support services we provide.

Care services

We've continued to provide care services with no changes. If a carer attends your home they'll wear the appropriate PPE.

Home sales

Our home sales programme is still running. If you wish to register an interest in buying a home from us, fill out our shared ownership interest form.

Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms. Visit the NHS website to read about them in more detail.

  • high temperature
  • new, continuous cough
  • loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

Anyone showing these symptoms over the age of five can book a test through the GOV website.
