Alliance Homes Ranked in Best Workplaces for Wellbeing
Alliance Homes is extremely proud to announce that we’ve officially been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing in the official Great Place to Work survey! This news is off the back of our certification with them as a Great Place to Work earlier this year.
Alliance's agile work practices, flexible working and the level of trust between team members as well as between managers and their teams are just some of the reasons why colleagues at Alliance Homes believe it's a great place to work.
Great Place to Work’s culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing people’s holistic experiences of wellbeing at work to determine the UK's Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
86% of Alliance colleagues told Great Place to Work that they felt supported to work in in agile way. Comments from colleagues reinforced this view with many stating that Alliance's excellent agile working practices has led to significant benefits in their home life.
Team members at Alliance really valued the way their employer allows them to work flexibly. The results showed that 86% of respondents said they felt able to take time off work when necessary and they valued Alliance's commitment to getting the work/life balance right for everyone.
The level of trust between team members and between managers and their team was another area where Alliance's colleagues rated their employer highly. 84% of colleagues said that that their line manager is someone that they can trust and the same number also think there is a high level of trust between the people in their team.

The Great Places to Work results have shown that our colleagues recognise this, but we're not stopping there.
