1. Competition period

The Blooms of Alliance competition runs from 1 June 2026 to 31 August 2026 (11:59pm, British Summer Time).
The competition is organised and managed by Alliance Homes.

2. Who can enter

This competition is open to Alliance Homes customers who either:

  • submit their own entry, or
  • are nominated by someone else (with their permission).

Entrants must:

  • live in the United Kingdom, and
  • be aged 18 or over, or have parent/guardian consent if under 18.

Before awarding a prize, we may ask for proof of age or address.

The following people cannot enter:

  • Alliance Homes employees, agents, or representatives
  • Their immediate family members or household members
  • Members of the Alliance Homes Resident Sustainability Group

3. Prize categories

There are five categories:

  • Best balcony or window box
  • Best front garden
  • Best back garden
  • Best communal project
  • Best hanging basket or pot

Each category winner will receive:

  • a £50 shopping voucher, and
  • a Golden Gnome statue

Winners will be contacted by 26 September 2026.
Vouchers will be issued either:

  • as an e voucher sent by email, or
  • as a physical voucher sent by post.

4. How to enter

To take part, simply complete the entry form on the Alliance Homes website during the competition period.

5. Judging

Entries will be judged in the UK by an independent panel of Resident Sustainability Group members. Their decision is final.

6. Awarding prizes

Prizes will only be awarded once we have confirmed that all competition requirements have been met.

Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or changed. However, Alliance Homes may offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value if needed. We’ll contact winners by phone, email or post by 26 September 2026. We’re not responsible if we’re unable to contact a winner due to incorrect or missing details.

By entering, you agree that:

  • You have followed these rules
  • Alliance Homes can use your name, photo, and comments in publicity (for example, on social media or our website), without payment
  • You release Alliance Homes and its partners from any claims relating to the competition or prize

7. General rules

By entering, you agree to:

  • follow these rules
  • accept the decisions of Alliance Homes, which are final

Requests must be received within one month of the winner announcement and include a self addressed stamped envelope.

9. Disqualification and competition changes

Alliance Homes is not responsible for technical issues or system failures that may affect entries.

We reserve the right to:

  • disqualify anyone who tampers with the competition or breaks the rules
  • suspend or cancel the competition if it cannot run fairly (for example, due to technical issues or events beyond our control)

If the competition is stopped early, prizes may be awarded from eligible entries received up to that point.

10. Tax

Any tax payable on a prize is the responsibility of the winner.

11. Legal

This competition is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

12. Liability

Alliance Homes is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from:

  • entering the competition, or
  • accepting or using a prize

By entering, you agree to release Alliance Homes and its partners from any related claims.

13. Data protection

We will handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

In some cases, we may share your information with trusted third parties, only where needed to deliver prizes.
