Alliance Homes recognised as one of the UK’s best workplaces for development
Alliance Homes has been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2026 by Great Place To Work®, the independent workplace culture and certification body.
Our dedication to delivering great homes and services, together with our big ambitions for the future, mean we’ve got great opportunities for talented people. If you can bring enthusiasm, initiative and commitment, we'd love to hear from you.

It’s confirmed – we are one of the best places to work!
Each year we ask our colleagues to rate us using the Great Place to Work survey and they’ve consistently told us that our workplace culture is one of the best.
Colleagues highlight they appreciate how we embed respect, give a sense of fulfilment and the resource to positively impact customers’ lives. They also feel proud of our commitment in tackling the housing and climate crisis – our aim is to build 2000 homes by 2032 and be net zero by 2050.
We have also officially been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces For Women and are lucky to have a team of exceptional women who are bringing their AGAME to work every day.
Diverse teams are stronger, happier teams
At Alliance we will respect who you are, because giving you the freedom to be unique means you have the confidence to give us your fresh insights.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader. We guarantee that any individual with a disability, a member of the LGBTQ+ community or those from an underrepresented Ethnic group, will get an interview if they match the minimum essential criteria for the role.
During the recruitment process you’ll have every opportunity to showcase yourself. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to make the process work for you.
Our offices are inclusive and accessible. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please email us.
Take control of your work/life balance
At Alliance we focus more on outputs than time spent in the office. Our agile working systems mean you can choose to work from home or come into our welcoming and flexible offices, whichever suits your needs and those of your team.
We know that life outside of work is important, so we’ve created a range of different types of leave. If you need to pop to a child’s sport day or support a family member with a hospital appointment, you’re covered with our agile framework.
We know applying for a role can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, so we’ve tried to keep our recruitment process clear, fair and as straightforward as possible. Here’s what you can expect:
Applying
For most of our roles, you’ll need to provide some personal details, upload your CV, and answer a couple of role related questions.
Anonymous applications
To keep things fair for everyone, our system anonymises CVs (depending on the formatting) before the panel review them. This means the system will hide things like your name, age, education institute or images. This helps us focus on your skills and experience from the start.
Shortlisting
We assess applications against the criteria listed in the job advert and Role Specification. Please see ‘An Inclusive Culture’ drop down for more information.
We’ll invite successful candidates to interview by email. If you’re not shortlisted, we’ll let you know — we won’t leave you wondering.
Interviews
Our interview process can look a little different depending on the role. Your invitation email will tell you everything you need to know, including the date, time, location and interview format. We’ll also send some potential standard questions you might be asked and give you the chance to let us know anything important about yourself.
As our customers are at the heart of what we do, you may find they play a part in your interview. This may be welcoming you at reception, asking a few structured questions, or being asked interview questions created using their feedback and experiences.
Interviews are very much a two-way conversation, so you’ll have plenty of time to ask us questions about Alliance Homes and the role too.
One last thing
If you have any questions at any stage, just get in touch — we’re always happy to help. Good luck with your application, and we hope to speak with you soon!
We are a purpose-led business with a performance culture, where every colleague has the right mindset and skillset to be on their A-Game, driving the right outcomes for customers, colleagues, and stakeholders with compassion and care.
