Over the last couple of years, we’ve made some big improvements to the way we recruit, all with one goal in mind: giving you the best possible experience when applying to work with us.

So, what does that look like in practice?

A fairer way to review CVs

To support our inclusive approach, we’ve introduced CV redaction. This means that, depending on how your CV is formatted, our system can remove certain personal details before shortlisting, including:

  • Your name
  • Date of birth
  • Contact details
  • Address
  • Education providers
  • Images

This helps us focus on what really matters, your skills and experience. CV redaction applies to most of our roles, and we’ll include clear formatting guidance in the application where needed.

Guaranteed interviews for under‑represented groups

We’re proud to offer a guaranteed interview to anyone who tells us they have a disability, are part of the LGBTQ+ community, or come from an under‑represented ethnic background, provided they meet the essential criteria for the role.

We'll always keep you informed

We know how frustrating it can be to apply and hear nothing back. That’s why we respond to every single application, so you’ll always know where you stand and what’s happening next.

Helping you feel prepared for interviews

Interviews can be nerve‑wracking (trust us—the interviewers feel it too!). To help you prepare, we’ll share a Bank of Questions ahead of time. This gives you an idea of the types of questions we ask, along with any role‑specific technical questions. It’s not exhaustive, but it should help you feel more confident going in.

Interview times that work for you

We also offer self‑selection interviews on some of our roles, so you can choose an interview time that suits you, based on the hiring team’s availability. Everything is managed through your recruitment portal to keep things simple and easy.
