Join our Resident Sustainability Group
We’re looking for customers to join our Resident Sustainability Group made up of customers who are passionate about their local community and want to help shape sustainability projects in their area.
With input from customers, we recently published our Sustainability Strategy, which outlines our vision for 2050. This includes becoming a net zero organisation, creating an enabling environment to encourage customers to make choices to reduce their environmental impact and supporting biodiversity on our land. Now, we want you to be a part of this journey.
What we’re looking for
To begin, we’re looking for customers from the South Ward (Bournville, Oldmixon and Coronation neighbourhoods) to join us in co-creating projects that help build sustainable and resilient communities. As part of the group, you’ll have the opportunity:
· Shape our approach to sustainability
· Act as a local champion
· Share and discuss ideas.
What you can expect
While we’re beginning with the South Ward, we welcome interest from customers in other areas too.
The group will meet in person, once a quarter at one of our local community spaces, where you will:
· Discuss local sustainability projects
· Review and provide input in how we communicate to customers about our sustainability journey
· Share your views on how we encourage more sustainable behaviours in your community.
This is a voluntary role. However, we can help arrange travel or cover travel costs and we will offer a voucher as a thank you for your involvement.
