Our Tenancy Support service is available to anyone living in North Somerset, you don't need to be an Alliance Homes customer to access support.
We’re here to help you gain control, freedom, and choice in your life, supporting you to live safely and independently at home.
How we can support you:
- Identify housing options and make choices about your housing situation, including if you are threatened with homelessness
- Settle successfully into a new home - for example arranging removals, finding furniture and essential household items and setting up utility accounts
- We can advocate on your behalf if you have a dispute with your landlord
- Maximise your income by claiming the welfare benefits you may be entitled too
- Access health and social services, and other specialist agencies
- Address financial problems such as rent arrears or other debts
- Source aids and adaptations for your home
- Access education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities
- Access community groups and services that reduce loneliness and isolation

This is a free service funded by North Somerset Council for residents aged 18 and over.

If you need support in any of the areas listed above you can complete our referral form.

Professional referrals
Professionals or agencies you're working with can refer you on your behalf, as long as they have your consent. They can use the same referral form.
What happens next
Once we receive a completed referral form, our assessment team will contact you to discuss how we can help. We aim to acknowledge all referrals within five working days.
Please note: there may be a waiting list, and we'll inform you of this during the initial call.
