We're committed to making sure all our customers live in safe homes.
Our team of Gas Safe Registered engineers carry out gas safety checks and annual services across all our homes, including leasehold properties. If you are a leaseholder and would like Alliance Homes to complete your gas servicing, you can choose from two options listed below.
During our safety checks and annual servicing, our team will inspect your boiler and other gas appliances. More information about our checks and what you can expect can be found on our 'Gas safety' webpage.
To find more information about our commitment to safety, visit our 'Staying safe at home' webpage.
Why gas safety matters
A gas boiler that isn't checked regularly can become dangerous. It can lead to gas leaks, carbon monoxide poisoning or breakdowns that could leave you without heating or hot water. Regular servicing helps keep your boiler working safely and efficiently.
If you sublet your home
If you sublet your home, it's your legal responsibility under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations Act 1998 to ensure the gas appliances in your home are checked at least once a year. This includes getting a valid Gas Safety Certificate.
