What is Life Through Your Lens?

By sharing a few details we can make meaningful changes to how we support you

We want to make sure we’re delivering our services in a way that meets your needs. To do this, we need to understand more about you, your needs, and preferences. 

We'll be providing you with regular opportunities to complete short surveys on topics from our original Life Through Your Lens form. You can choose which ones to answer and tell us about those areas that really matter to you. 

The surveys are short, and cover topics such as  areas

  • How you’d prefer us to communicate with you
  • Any health issues you’d like us to be aware of
  • Whether we need to make any adjustments when visiting you

We'll be changing the topic every two months to ensure we capture everything that's on the full form. 

You can also choose to answer the full form if you prefer, this covers all the topics in one form and may take a little longer to complete.

We want to make sure we provide our services in a way that is inclusive for everyone in our communities.

This means we need to hold accurate and up to date information about your ethnicity and we’d like to hear of any cultural needs you may have.

Will my data be secure?

Yes, the data collection and storage processes have been designed to be secure and protect the information you give us. We will only use the information you give us to improve your experience with us. If you’d like to know more, please read our Privacy Policy

Do I have to answer every question.

The only questions that everyone who submits a form needs to provide a response to are the identification questions, so we can  match your response to our records. Other than those questions, it’s up to you which questions you want to answer. 

Are you checking up on me?

Not at all. We can assure you that Life Through Your Lens has only been created to improve the way we work for customers. 

Will there be any other surveys?

We'll be asking customers regular questions based on our longer Life Through Your Lens survey. You can choose to complete the full survey here LINK or simply complete the current mini-survey.

Consumer Standards

Life Through Your Lens is part of our commitment to delivering the requirements in the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards. The specific standard that Life Through Your Lens relates to is the ​Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard. This standard specifies the outcomes landlords must deliver in relation to being open with tenants and treating them with fairness and respect so that tenants can access services, raise complaints, influence decision making and hold their landlord to account.
