Extra care housing is for people who have care and support needs and want to live independently.

Tamar Court in Worle, Weston-super-Mare is our only scheme with dedicated onsite extra care scheme. It offers a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, available through social rent and shared ownership.

About Tamar Court

Tamar Court is available to anyone aged over 55, living in North Somerset and who has support and care needs.

The scheme is designed to help residents enjoy the independence of living in their own home, while being part of a vibrant community. With on-site management and 24/7 support, you can feel safe and secure, and count on person-centred care whenever you need it.

Each home is finished to the highest standard and includes a range of on-site facilities, including:

Hair dressing salon
Library
Restaurant
Enclosed courtyard garden.

If you need a bit of extra support, you can access flexible care services provided by our on-site care team, they’re able to support residents with personal care, social visits, shopping and domestic services.

There’s also a regular programme of social activities to help you stay connected and make new friends.
