In 2026, we're celebrating our 20th birthday.
This gives us a chance to look back and celebrate the communities, customers and colleagues who have been part of our journey.
It also gives us an opportunity to look ahead and think about what's next.
A look back at our journey
Looking back, it's great to see how much has changed. From starting in 2006 as North Somerset Housing and only a few years later we became Alliance Homes Group. In 2017, we opened Tamar Court and launched our A-Game values. Our 2019 rebrand was another big moment as we continued to grow and develop homes outside of North Somerset. More recently, we launched our customer panels - helping shape our services - and our customer portal, Connect. In 2025, we celebrated reaching 7,000 homes across the West of England.

20 Years Together
Celebrating our customers, colleagues and communities
Join us for our big customer celebration on Saturday 24 October at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare.
We're brining together customers, colleagues, partners and communities together for a fun-filled day, with something for everyone and entertainment for all ages. It's a celebration the whole family can enjoy.
Flag Carnival at Weston Arts + Health Week Festival
Our colleagues teamed up with local artist Zara Emily to screen-print a celebratory 20-year anniversary flag for the Weston Arts + Health Week Festival's Flag Carnival.
The flag was filled with words and illustrations highlighting our role in communities over the last 20 years.
As part of the Flag Carnival, we were joined by 14 local community groups that use our community hubs, plus dozens of other organisations and projects from across North Somerset, shinning a spotlight on the range of support available to people across North Somerset.
Celebrating with customers from our age-restricted schemes
In June, we welcomed 20 customers from our age-restricted schemes to our second Customer Forum.
It was a chance for customers to meet with senior leaders, share their experiences, and talk about the issues that matter most to them.
The event was also an opportunity to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Customer Yvonne, who has lived in her Portishead home for 20 years, helped mark the occasion by cutting a special anniversary cake.

Blooms of Alliance
To mark our 20-year anniversary, we’re inviting you to take part in our Blooms of Alliance gardening competition.
Whether you're a confident gardener or your fingers are only light green, we want to see your green spaces of all kinds, shapes and sizes!
Our categories are:
- Best balcony or window space
- Best front garden
- Best back garden
- Best collaborative project or communal space
- Best hanging basket or pot
You can enter any time between now and the deadline of midnight on 31 August, so you have plenty of time to spruce up your garden, or wait until your favourite plants are looking their best.
Launching our 20th anniversary celebrations with colleagues
At the start of the year, we marked our 20th anniversay by bringing together colleagues from across our services to enjoy a cake, catch up with with one another and look back on our past two decades.
