Applications are now open for our Communities Together Grants

Applications for our 2024 Communities Together Grants are now open. Grant applications are open to groups, charities and organisations making a difference in the areas we serve and can range from £50 up to £7,500.

Helen Wheelock, Community Growth Manager at Alliance Homes, said:

“We’re delighted to again be able to offer these grants to local groups that play such an important role in supporting our customers and communities. We’re looking forward to receiving new applications from a range of community groups and different organisations.”

In 2023, the Communities Together Grants awarded over £27,000 of funding to a range of organisations supporting our communities.

One of the organisations to receive grant funding was Springboard Opportunity Group. This charity provides a secure learning environment for children with disabilities. The funding supported the cost of an Early Years Practitioner to help meet the growing demand of their service.

A Guardian of one of the children the charity supports said:

“My child has gained so many skills since starting Springboard, and I love that the staff are honest and always helpful. As well as helping my child, the charity has enabled me to connect with other parents in similar situations and help me feel less alone.”
