When you leave us

If you want to end your tenancy you need to:

• Make sure your rent account is clear.
• Leave the property in good condition. You may be charged for any damage that is not regarded as being caused by fair wear and tear.
• Give us at least 4 weeks notice in writing using the property vacation form.
  • We will need the following information before you leave us:
    • The date you intend to leave
    • your forwarding address
    • a contact telephone number.

• If you are acting on behalf of a tenant who has passed away

  Please notify us of the death as soon as possible. If you return the keys to us within 2 weeks, we will not charge rent on the notice period and as long as you: 

  • Give us access to the property at your earliest convenience so we can get ready to carry out any repairs that may be needed
  • provide us with a copy of the death certificate once you have it
  • leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, cleared of all furniture and other belongings.
