New Board Members
Ciaran Cronnelly
Ciaran joined the board in 2022 as a group board member.
He has over 10 years’ experience delivering services to communities and currently works as the Head of Funded Services for Citizens Advice where he’s responsible for leading programmes of multi-national services supporting 100,000s of people a year.
Alongside this he is a local councillor and chairs the North Somerset Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel working closely with local hospital trusts, public health, primary care networks, health providers and the BNSSG Integrated Care Board.
Ciaran is passionate about the positive impact that housing can have on communities and how this can play an important role in tackling inequalities. He brings a range of experiences and skills that focus on delivering community centric services, implementing change and bringing the voice of communities into decision making.
Amanda Hamilton-Stanley
Amanda joined the board in 2022 as a group board member.
She is a professional trustee and business lawyer with almost 30 years of experience in both commercial and not for profit/charitable organisations in a variety of sectors including property development. She is currently a trustee for Victim Support, the national charity supporting victims of crime and their families, as well as a board advisor for a rum distillery and a climate change communications and marketing agency. Amanda also continues to work as a lawyer and a pensions trustee.
As a qualified executive coach and with her experience across a number of sectors, Amanda feels strongly that good governance and compliance sits alongside empathy and heart in delivering the right services to customers. She is of the view that a safe and comfortable home is a fundamental right and a strong basis for enabling people to fulfil their potential. She brings a range of experiences and skills that focus on supporting organisations to be effective and to deliver successful customer experiences of the services they provide.
